Stuck in sleep sack?

So, my almost 18 month-old DD has started getting her foot stuck in the neck of her sleep sacks during late night escape attempts.  Has anyone else had this problem?  If so, what did/do you do?

Re: Stuck in sleep sack?

  • Oh yikes - that sucks! We still use the sleep sack and my DD hasn't attempted this...yet! :) I assume when she does we might have to move to a regular blanket I guess?

  • Wow, she's quite the contortionist. We haven't experienced this since we just use regular blankets.

  • LOL!

I don't think DS is flexible enough for this adventure. However, I'm getting worried that he will find the zipper and "practice" on his sleep sack.

  • We don't use a blanket of any sort and DD is perfectly cozy enough in her one piece footed sleepers.  Can you just ditch the sleep sack altogether?
  • How about using the sleep sacks with the holes for feet?  Is that what you're using?
  • What kind of sleepsack are you using?  Sounds like it's too big if she can get her foot through the neck hole.  Have you tried Halo Sleepsacks?
