I've been lurking and posting on here for a while, but I never officially introduced myself.
My DH and I found went in for our first u/s at 18 weeks and were told we'd probably be able to tell the sex of our baby. I just knew we were having a boy. It took about 5 seconds for my husband to look on the screen and know what was going on. I was not that quick. The u/s tech asked if it was our first u/s. "Yes." Then she asked if I was on fertility medication. I thought that was a really weird question to ask, and answered a little snottily, " No!" That's when DH piped up and said, "There are 2 head on the screen!!" WHAT?!?
So that's how we entered the world of mulitples. We are having girls. Our C-section is scheduled for Jan. 25. It has been a really smooth, uncomplicated pregnancy. I'm very sorry to those of you who have not had it so easy. These last few weeks are getting pretty difficult for me, though. Everyone has been telling me that I look like I'm having twins now, and I didn't before. That's always nice to hear. I walk down the hallway at work and can hear my co-workers laughing and giggling behind me. Also, very pleasant to hear. It's not that much longer until we meet our girls, so it will all be worth it then.
Thanks to everyone on here for all the great advice, venting, and listening. This board has helped me so much!!
