Soy Formula Babies.....

My son has had such terrible ezcema for a while he has to wear socks on his hands all day because he rips away at his head and face.  We have tried everything possible until finally this week giving Soy Formula a try per Dr's suggestion suspecting a possible allergy to milk.  Well it seems to be working his poor little head has never looked so good and felt so soft.  The formula sure stinks but it is helping the ezcema so much.  I have heard bad things about soy lately so while I'm happy his skin is getting better I feel uneasy about him drinking soy.  Just wanted to check in with others who have tried or who are on soy to find out how their child is doing and thoughts good or bad on soy.

our LO has been on soy since he was a month old AND has the exact same dry itchy scalp issues you were talking about...we use cradle cap care; head and shoulders shampoo; brushing; and baby oil and it still hasn't gone away so I'm jealous!

LO has been on Soy since he was around 2 weeks old. We've never had any issues with it. He was switched because he was not keeping his formula down at all. The smell is foul, but its worked wonders with our spit up monster. His head is a bit flaky though. It's just been lately and I sort of think its the weather.
