If your DC had reflux at what age did they stop constantly spitting up?  Macy is on Zantac which neutralizes the acid but doesn't stop it.  She also drinks Enfamil AR.  She goes through a ton of bibs and outfits a day.  I have no idea how she is managing to gain weight.  I just want to hold her without getting spit up all over.  Tell me the end is near .

My dd wasn't diagnosed with reflux and wasn't on meds but she spit up all.the.time. i saw a huge difference (like little to no spit-up) at 6 months when she started solids. That could have been a coincidence but my theory is that the solids kept the liquids down better. Or maybe she just grew out of it.

Callie is nearly 6 months and her reflux is so much better. She still has episodes, but not like when she was younger.

Emma has stopped spitting up so much over the past month or so.  She's improved enough that I'm considering slowly trying to reintroduce dairy and soy into my diet finally (yay!).

DS is almost 7 months and has been doing much better on Prilosec,he was on Zantac and it did nothing. I also switched from breast milk to Alimentum and he hardly spits up all now.

My DD had bad reflux and was on meds from 2 weeks until 11 months old.  The spitting up (to put what she did nicely) got to be less when she started table foods at around 8 months and stopped totally when she was off the bottle at 11 months.  She just could not handle such huge volumnes of liquid with no real solid in her tummy.

My good friend's baby (Kayla Marie!) has reflux and at 7 mos still spits up constantly, as in at least 10 times/day, often many more. The volume is less, though. And she also is gaining weight (85%ile).

Good luck! I have no idea how my friend handles it!
