We are having the ducts in our basement replaced because the ones that came with the house had 50% less capacity than our furnace requires.  It causes our furnace to cycle on and off constantly.  So it is 20 degrees out and DH decided it would be a good day to have the guy come out to do the work.  So our furnace has been off for the last 4 hours and it is COLD in here.  It's not even like there was anything wrong, we just wanted more efficiency.  Why today, DH?

Because they lack the ability to be logical and think things through.....sorry to hear about being cold.
