Just wondering if anyone here has had to use milk of magnesia? Did it cause stomach cramps? I think I am going to have to give in and take some but I am worried it will cause terrible stomach cramps. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Speaking as the queen on constipation, I've taken 3 times so far. The first time, I took it at night and it was after a few days and no cramps and every thing was fine. The second time, I took it in the morning (about 12 hrs sooner than the first time) and didn't really have cramps but had diarrhea for the next few hours (maybe went to the bathroom 2-3 times over those hours). It's better (imo) to deal with loose stools than none at all. Sorry if this is tmi.

No cramping that I can recall. My understanding is that it is safe for use during pg because it doesn't cause cramps unlike laxatives. I had to take it during the 1st tri and I only took a little bit and it worked like a charm. Good Luck!
I will be taking it again today. I get a bit of cramping, but I have other bowel issues to begin with. I take miralax daily because zofran really does a number on me.
I have not tried it yet but I was told the other day that using it on your face will clear it up completely in a few days! I am definitely going to try that!

This actually does work pretty well. A friend told me to try it. I dab it on spots with a Q-tip and my face has looked a lot better.
