1st Trimester

ok--so found not one, but TWO great non-alcoholic beers!!!!

Buckler beer--kind of has a honey-ish sweetness to it and

O'Doul's Amber

both really taste great and like a REAL beer! much better alternative than the non-alcoholic wine which was just disgusting! ;)

  • I wish I liked beer enough to drink the non-alcoholic version!  But if I am drinking beer, I am drinking to get drunk :-)

  • I agree with the OD Amber.  I haven't seem Buckler, but I'll have to look for it.  I thought Kaliber wasn't half bad last time around.

  • Not sure if you know or not....

    NA beer does, in fact, contain alcohol. Granted, it takes about 10 of them to equal a regular beer.

    In order to be without any alcohol, it must be called alcohol free.

    Just didn't want you to think you are consuming a beverage with absolutely no alcohol :)

  • just read the label, it's 0.5%.

    since I only have 1 I think that's ok. ;)

    FDA regulations requre it contain less than 0.5% alcohol for any drink labeled non-alcoholic.

    ::filing the ODouls Amber away::

    Have you tried Clausthaler?  It's an import.  I had to have one when we went out with my folks before we told them (they took us out to lunch at a brewhaus! GAH!)  It wasn't bad.

  • These sound worth a try, thanks much.
  • I have to agree the N/A wine was horriable. I did also find the Buckler which I didn't think was half bad.
