Am I incapable of getting the tablets UNDER his tongue?!

In the two times that we've attempted to give DS Hyland teething tablets I cannot - for the life of me - place the tablets under his tongue.  Is there a trick to this or something?  He ends up with a chalky mouth and expression on his face of "WTF Ma??"

I am having the same issue! I finally got one slightly under but then she managed to get the dissolved clump out of her mouth on her chin.

I mix them in with a little breast milk and pour them in her mouth with a medicine cup.  

3 tablets per teaspoon of milk. HTH.

Put it in his bottle.

I just kind of hold it there for a few seconds.  She still ends up a little chalky but she doesn't spit them out.

we had the same issue with the colic tabs. DD even started chocking on one because we couldnt get it under her tounge (yeah scary...she was only a few weeks old). GL! If you figure it out...pass it along

Place under tongue and insert bink.  That works for us.  Or try what pp said and mix with water/formula/breastmilk
