age requirements for Snugli carrier?

My mom gave me a used Snugli baby carrier, so I have none of the documentation that goes with it. How old does the baby need to be to be carried in this? Do they need to have head control or does it support their head?

    Not sure which you have.. but I am pretty sure it goes by weight

    Our's is a snugli comfort vent.. it has 7-26 lb weight limit

    You can face the baby toward or away from you. It has a head support on it for when the baby is facing you.

    Be cautious using this kind of carrier, it has been known like the Bjorn to cause hip issues in babies.

    If you want to use it for longer periods of time look into a wrap style carrier or the Ergo.

    Facing inward they do not need head control.
