Hi! My name is Heather. I"ve been lurking on the knot and then the nest for over 5 years and this is my first ever post. I had a mc in Nov at 8w3d, my 2nd pregnancy..I have a wonderful, beautiful 2 1/2 yr old son. I was ok after the mc, cried a little, but accepted it or so I thought, but recently some sadness about it has begun to creep back. I always had these ideas of what I wanted in life, actually expected...2 kids who are at the most 3 years apart, both before I'm 35, spring babies, etc....when it didn't work out that way I was actually shocked. I never once thought that it was possible that I wasn't going to get everything I wanted. I learned a very difficult lesson after the mc, one that i needed to....life doesn't always work out the way you hoped or planned it. I normally only share these feelings with those in my close circle, but I find all of you women quite inspiring after reading many of your stories and felt compelled to share mine.
Re: New Here....a little long
Welcome to the board. I'm very sorry for your loss. I have a 2 1/2 yr old dd, and we thought the same thing--- 2-3 yrs apart, no more than 3 yrs apart......that's not happening.
I hope you feel you can post here. Lurkers miss out on getting to know a lot of really awesome women. Hope to hear from you more. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

Welcome. And I'm sorry for your loss. And I understand.
After a lifetime of being told I could have whatever I wanted if I just worked hard enough for it, this year has been a pisser. . . but these ladies are the best foxhole buddies a girl could ask for in hard times, so you're in a good place.
