Anyone familiar with Northland Obstetrics & Gyn in Liberty?

I delivered my first child via c-section with Northland Women's Healthcare at St. Luke's North. This time I am hoping for a VBAC and have found that this practice in Liberty does them depending on the situation. Does anyone have experience with this practice that would refer their doctor? I prefer to see a female doctor however I know I will probably have to see the male doctors in the practice as well.

When I spoke to the receptionist, it sounded like I may not really have a main doctor and that I would just rotate through them since you never know who will be on call when you go into labor. How did that work for you? At my old doctor's office I did have a main doctor and just rotated through all the doctors one time toward the end of my pregnancy.

If you have experience with a VBAC at this practice, I would really love to chat with you! Thanks in advance for your help ladies!

  • I have not had a baby, but I go to Northland obgyn for my yearly exams. I see Dr. Reardon and she is absolutely fantastic. However, she is extremely hard to get into and I don't believe she is taking new patients. If I cannot see Dr. Reardon, I see Sandra, one of the nurse practitioners. It is true that when you are pregnant, you see a different doctor each time. They want you to get to know each doctor because any of them may deliver you.

  • This has been my OBGYN office since I was 16...I love it! Dr. Cargill delivered Sammie but we saw all the Dr's in the office...they are all great. I was induced so the Dr that broke my water was different than the Dr that delivered me b/c of their shift changes but it wasn't a big deal. The office only delivers at Liberty Hospital though...so check with your insurance to make sure they cover that hospital.

And honestly...you get over the man issue real fast...by the end of the pregnancy you really don't care who is looking down there! :)
