Might be time to hide the scale

Not that I've gained too much weight but those numbers have been climbing faster & faster and it freaks me out when I see the scale.  I feel good & feel like I look good, so the numbers shouldn't matter, right?  Why can't I break the habit of jumping on that scale each day?

  • LOL... I JUST got off the scale!?

I have a Dr's appt this evening, and I was worried because I got scolded a little bit the last time around because in I gained 7lbs last month. Fortunately, THIS month I only gained 2. So I guess that evens that out! ;)

  • I feel the exact same way.  I weigh myself every Tuesday, and it seems like every week it's up another 2 lbs.  It's disheartening, even though in my head I know it's necessary, and I'm doing what's best.
  • When I was losing weight Pre-Preg. I put a sticker over the last digit on the scale. I would only know when I was down 10 pounds and couldn't obsess about the day to day changes.

  • I think I just need to double up my efforts to work out (I've been slacking) and make sure I don't drink too many calories (juice, soda, etc).

That's an interesting idea.  I would be a happy girl then because I'll stay within 10lbs for awhile....hopefully.

  • I've only gotten on the scale once at home....I have been paying attention to what they've been weighing me at at the Dr's office though Tongue Tied

I don't feel too bad about it, I think I was gaining more weight with DS.

  • Pre-pregnancy I jumped on the scale every morning before my Shower.  Being pregnant, I avoid the scale. I've just been weighing myself at my doctor's appointments.  I'll drive myself crazy if I weigh myself everyday.
