OMG...DH just told me he wants a baby!!

DH out of the blue said he's been thinking the past few weeks that we should have a baby...wtf??? I wanted another one two years ago but he was against it and now we def can't afford one (don't worry I have an IUD) maybe in a year everything will be back to normal...but I will be in my final year of school then and O will be five...is that age difference too big?  I guess it would be five or six years depending on when I got pregnant...

I know it's early to even think about but I'm in total shock!! My kid is potty trained and will be in full time school by the time we have a new baby...do I really want to do that?  Not to mention I HATED being pregnant and almost died during my csection...so I'm scared to even do it again.  I'd prefer to adopt but DH said he wants our baby.  Though he said he really wanted a girl too which is another shocker...have no idea what he is thinking sometimes.  I will work on the adoption idea...

hello! thanks for remembering me!! I just got a netbook so I'll def be on here more.  Little O's been keeping me busy.  DH and I are doing much better...though there will always be some issues and work hours will always suck but that's the nature of being the boss and his business but overall we've been doing great...we spent five weeks together at his mother's house while his dad was in his final days and I think that was huge for us.  If we have a baby I would still be primarily taking care of it as DH works a lot.  We'll see...I like reading books and showering...

thanks it was a very tough time for us though he was so sick...

Background on DH is that he owns a business where he has to work until usually 8-11 pm though most days he goes to work at 9 or 10 and hangs out with O.  We also go visit him after school most days for an hour or so.  He also works on the weekend though not usually for more than a couple of hours. 

I am also a SAHM so I'm that def helps...though I would like to get some sort of job when O goes to full time school...My dad owns his own business also so I'm used to the messed up hours.
