Thanks for asking! His hand is pretty much fine. We were lucky that when the blisters popped, the plastic surgeon could see the skin underneath would eventually be ok so no other medical intervention was needed (we just have to keep his hands moisturized). The skin on his palms is sort of pink compared to the rest of his hands and I think his hands are slightly more sensitive to hot/cold than the average person, but eventually there should be no difference. The plastic surgeon said you lose so much skin on your hands over time that eventually the skin will look exactly the same. We were really lucky and now that all seems like some awful nightmare!
