Anterior Placenta

Anyone else out there looking exceptionally small at 25 weeks?  And was also wondering if it was because you had an anterior placenta.  I heard that can make you look very small.  Just curious.

I have an anterior placenta and am 25 weeks and my husband and I joke that I could be on I Didn't know I was pregnant. I sort of have a bump, but I look more like I have just gained weight. I had not heard that having an anterior placenta can make you look small, but in my case it is true as well.

I have a posterior placenta and last time I was at the doc, he told me that I would feel things sooner and when I started showing I would look slightly bigger (and I feel like I do!) Don't know if that helps or not, but that's what I was told, so maybe the opposite is true?

I'm nowhere near 25 weeks, but I also have an anterior placenta.  I've been wondering why I'm not popping out yet like some of the other 14 weekers!  I barely even look bloated sometimes.  Guess I might have to wait a bit longer!

I have one too and, while I realize it is early for a bump, I can just barely tell there is a change in my body over the past week.  I have definitely 'filled out' more, but no sign of a bump yet.  Interesting post....I hadn't thought about it affecting much more than feeling movement.

I have an anterior placenta and I started showing around 18 weeks. Now, this is my 3rd child so it could be that I just showed earlier. I havent heard about anterior placentas making you look smaller though?

I had an anterior placenta with DS and I only started showing around 24-25 weeks and never got very big. But I am also not very big this time and I do not have an anterior placenta - so for me I think it more that I have a long torso...

This . . with DD i started showing at 21 weeks and I had an anterior placenta. .  and to tell you the truth .  i wasn't very small .  and didn't look like I was smaller . . and never heard that an anterior placenta making you look smaller . .

Actually to be honest, this is definitely my biggest pregnancy by far.

I will let you know when we get through this baby, but the last one .  she was a pretty big baby  too . .

I have an anterior placenta and I'm not near as big as some of my other pregnant friends who are 24 weeks. HMMM... wonder if this has been causing it the whole time?

I have an anterior placenta and I am huge...  All an anterior placenta means is that the baby implanted on the front side of your uterus as opposed to the back side so I am not sure why that would have any bearing on how much you show?  But who knows! : )
