i know it's still a bit early for me, and i'm not planning to register for anything yet, but i was wondering if there is a list floating around out there of eeeeeevery single thing new parents need. i'm completely clueless.
i'm off for two weeks after friday, and i'd love to spend some of my vacation looking and comparison shopping for baby!

Honestly, the best advice you are going to get will be from other moms. Start asking other women (either IRL or on these boards) what they needed the most, etc... I would say at LEAST a third of the crap all those "lists" tell you (especially registry lists, they just want you to add as much crap as possible!) is totally not necessary.
Outside of that, I would say don't open packages until you need them, since you never know what you may be taking back (so save all those receipts too!
this is great advice!?
i found this blog someone posted awhile back to be very helpful. i hope this helps you out a little!
