Tacky or ok?

Please accept my one and only xmas present post.

I saw my mom last week in FL. She got a flyer in the mail that listed all the plays happening at a local playhouse this summer in Maine (where she spends summers).  She mentioned wanting to see Carousel.  Went online today to see if they are selling tickets yet - they are not.   Is it tacky to create an"Admit Two" with pictures of Carousel and putting it in a card?

I don't think it's tacky.  Are you going to get tickets for sure?  That would be my only concern.

I hope I can get the tickets! Oh god, that would be bad.  I don't think this playhouse sells out, but I'll give her the list of dates and have her pick and then call and find out when they go on sale.

You could get her a gift card for the theater and tell her that it is for going to see that play - then if for some reason that is sold out she can go to a different one. Great idea though!
