My 2 yo was crying in his sleep. This is nothing new, so I decided to let him cry for a bit. He coughed a few times, but I didn't think anything of it. Ten minutes later I went in to check on him and the poor boy is sitting up, looking confused and his sheets are covered in puke! I feel so badly for not going in there right away. I am glad soy milk before going to bed!

This exact same thing happened to me when DS was around 1.  DH finally went to check on him and saw the throw up so that may be worse - I was just letting him cry and someone else had to get him to see the throw up.  It bothered me for a bit because I couldn't hear the difference in his regular cry and the "I just threw up come get me" cry.
