I personally still feel like DS is to small. He has decent head control but he is really long and the back of the bumbo doesn't support him enough. I truthfully thought it suggests 4 months as the use age, I might be wrong though. I will probably try again in a couple of weeks.
I have used it a few times for pictures. She will sit in it for about 30-45 seconds without support. She does much better if I cover it with a blanket and then sit her in it because it is more supportive.

I may be wrong about 3 months. That is just what someone on here said. I got mine on loan from a friend, so I don't have the box to refer to.
we started using it this past week for a few minutes at a time. he's small enough that the back acts kind of like a headrest if he leans back a bit - he has really good head control at this point, though. if he were still jerking around i wouldn't use it.
We just started using it Saturday. Our DD has great head/neck control and I have seen babies younger than her using the Bumbo. She absolutely loves her new chair.

Re: When did you start using bumbo seat?
I have put her in it a couple of times since 2 months, but never for more than a couple of minutes. I think the recommended age is 3 months +
