A confession I feel the need to get out..

For some reason I really like the name Maverick for a boy. I know it isn't popular and actually I am not even sure it is a name. Before we knew gender I told DH this and he started laughing at me, he thought I was joking..

But this post is fairly pointless because we are having a girl and even if LO was a boy we both loved the name Nolan.

Onto a more flammable confession...I accidentally bought country fresh traditional eggnog and not the Holynog. I guess the traditional isn't pasteurized and the Holy is. Well by the time I noticed I already had a glass. Since I noticed I have had a few sips, I felt a little guilty but it is so good. If the first glass didn't get me sick then I think I am fine.

I need to go back to sleep...weird things cross my mind when I stay awake after DH leaves for work :-)

I think you're fine on both confessional fronts. I love the randomness though.

  I confess to having Gestational Diabetes that I have been able to maintain with modifications to my diet, although yesterday I had a Moe's burrito (my one pg craving) and a couple candy canes. That spiked my sugars up to the 150's where they are usually in the 114-125 range. I plan to have another burrito today since my mom is taking me to lunch and told me to pick.

Moe's is similar to Chipotle if you have one of those.

 

 This burrito is bad because they are as big as your head, the tortilla is made with white flour, the burrito contains lots of rice and other carbs not necessarily great for GD. THe meal comes with a ton of tortilla chips that I dip in their queso dip (like heaven) and I usually have it with a glass of their sweet tea. So, maybe as an entire package, I should have explained.......

Well then...I guess that isn't great///but I am not sure if I had GD if that would keep me away. I am drooling a little bit with your last description of the meal...of to google Moe's and see if there is one near me :-)

WooHoo...There are only 3 in Michigan, and actually there is one that is less than 4 miles away from me, and yet I still had never heard of it. Well I work tonight, but maybe I can talk DH into Moe's tomorrow :-)

Oh and btw...I love how you hijacked my thread and turned it into a post about burritos, and now you have a crazy pregnant women craving one at 6:30am! Thanks!

haha, so sorry about that. Was just thinking the same thing a minute ago.... what can I say...a pg woman has to eat right?

 

 Glad you have a Moe's there! The burrito I usually get is called a Joey Bag of Donuts (hehe)....If you want to add sour cream or guacamole to it it will become a Triple Lindy. Oh and I get it with steak...yum! Just thought you'd want  a heads up. Their menu can be a little confusing for a first timer.

I'm thinking I want to eat some Chipotle this week.  We don't have any Moe's by us, but I do like Chipoptle!  I've only let myself eat it 3 times since they put one in in the last year, but now I have an excuse!
