When I heard about people having ugly sweater Christmas parties I thought it was funny and was bummed that I couldn't participate in one. Dh and I got to thinking and decided that we could make Christmas cards using the ugly sweater theme. So we went to Goodwill for our sweaters, the Dollar Store for our headbands and headed to K-Mart for pictures. The poor woman working in the photo studio thought we looked nice and didn't quite understand when we told her it was just a joke, that we wanted a BAD picture. 

We got several shots and this one was the best, IMO. We used it for our cards that year with the message, "Merry Freakin' Christmas from the XXXXXX family."

props to your dh for being in on the fun.  my dh would do the pictures at home but i can't see him going to kmart and wearing or putting on that vest.  boo to him.
