There was an accident this morning on a freeway near my house. Caused by ICE. How often does that happen???

i didn't think it ever got that cold in california.  obviously i've never been there.

Depends on where you are. I used to live in the mountains of CA where ice and snow are a regular occurrence.

However, I currently live only a few miles from the beach in southern CA. When I got home last night at midnight, it was 37 degrees at my house. I know that's not cold to some of you, but that's ridiculously cold for where I live.

I came home for Christmas one year and all the LA stations had people freaking out because the low was going to be 32. People were worried the pipes in their sprinkler systems would burst!

dang.   And I got a pinch of sunburn taking a 1.5 mile walk in a tank top this afternoon.
