i cannot believe she even said that out loud!
so i was at the store earlier, and a woman behind me in line asked me how far along i was, blah blah blah. so i told her i was due end of this month, first week of next month (since saying january always gets me these WOW YOUR HUGE! comments...) and what does she proceed to say? "oh great! when i was about as far along as you, i used the shower head every day to try to break my water. after about a week, it finally worked! and, since it was hot water going up there..it was sanitary." i looked at her like she had twelve heads! i cant believe A. she would do that! and B. that she would say it out loud, let alone tell anyone!!!!?

Strangers don't really talk to me about my pregnancy so I don't have any stories.
But at least she was worried about "sanitary"... how weird can people be?
no! she wasnt old--MAYBE 50, maybe. it was the weirdest thing i have ever encountered in my life. your idea sounds awesome, and very safe from the crazies!?
one of my little sister's friends told me she used a dildo to try and start labor or whatever. i definitely thought it was weird.
she was a week or so overdue... but hmm...
