How does your LO nap at daycare? I think my LO does ok for being there and not at home. But just wondering about what everyone else's LO naps like. TIA

She is a horrible napper at DC. Sometimes if we are lucky she takes 3 naps but they are all usually 30 min or less. Last Friday she took 1 nap. At home she isn't a great napper but since she started DC she actually is so exhausted afterwards that she naps good then. And on the weekends I swear all she does is sleep.
Mine isn't in daycare yet but will be in october. I am worried because she really isn't the greatest napper. Very inconsistent. Like some days she will take 2 - 3 naps all day that are all 30 minutes long and that's it.
But then somedays (usually when hubby has her and not me) she will take two naps that are each 1.5-2 hours!!
Also getting her down for naps isn't easy usually. She will scream.
I worry the daycare will call us and say I know we said it would be x $ per week but now we need to increase as your baby doesn't take naps.. Haha.

He takes a couple short naps. He'll get used to the noise eventually, and has been doing better. He usually naps better at home, and has at least one good nap. Sometimes he gets a long nap at DC, but not often.

DS usually naps about the same as at home. That is usually 2-3 naps that are anywhere from 30min-1hr or so. In other words it totally depends on the day and how he's feeling. Today he took a 3 hour nap, I guess he was exhausted from the busy weekend. I think he naps sometimes just to not hear the other babies scream!!

Elise only takes 2 30 minute naps at daycare, but it's about the same at home too. She is just a terrible napper. Fortunately, she isn't all that cranky though!
You all made me feel soooooo much better! Thank you I don't feel so bad about her naps at daycare. Sometimes she takes normal naps and other days 10 minute naps. I know there is nothing I dado about it but they make me feel bad about it sometimes.

Another old ball, my LO naps BETTER at daycare. She takes two solid naps there, each either 90 minutes or sometimes 2 and a half hours long!! I'm so jealous, she is a terrible napper at home on the weekends, hardly ever more than 30 minutes a pop.

Another crappy napper here. There have actually been a couple days where he has not napped a wink at daycare. Most days he takes 1 or 2 naps of 20-40 minutes. But, that's pretty much the same as when he's home. Eh, he is happy and smiley most of the day there and gets a good amount of night time sleep, so I'm not going to stress about it too much.

He naps MUCH better at daycare--seeing all the older toddlers running around really wears him out! At daycare, he consistently takes a nap in the car on the way there, 1.5 hour morning nap and a 1 hour afternoon nap...while at home, he takes 3 naps that are 45 minutes, tops:( We're hoping to be as exhausting as day care one of these days!
yep same as at home- inconsistent and a few short naps. Sometimes daycare can get him to nap for an hour but usually just 30 minutes a few times a day (just like when he's home)
He always falls asleep in the car on the way home though
She takes really good naps at daycare, a lot of times it is more than she does at home. She took a 4 hour nap at daycare yesterday, but she has a little cold so i'm sure that's why. But she sleeps for an hour or two at a time there on the regular.
She was a horrible, horrible napper, at home and at daycare, until about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I may have mentioned it before, but the naps were so bad it overwhelmed our original home daycare person and we were asked to find new arrangements for her. She's thriving at the new place though (but she's also the only one there until next week so we'll see how that goes in a noisier environment with other children) She now is taking two regular naps on a pretty good schedule and we try our best to mimic those times at home. We had to find a good situation for her; pacifier, a security blanket and we still swaddle her legs and that seems to help her napping. I think now we have the at home naps and daycare naps in sync.
He is inconsistent across the board. At DC he will sometimes take 3hr naps, sometimes just catnaps. At home, its usually cat naps, but he sometimes will throw in a 2hr nap. However, we are usually out and about on the weekends, so our schedule is very inconsistent as well.
