my last week

This is it - my last week of maternity leave.  It is so hard to believe this whole experience is coming to an end . . . it was almost a year ago I got pregnant and it feels like it was the fastest year of my life!  I so looked forward to meeting LO and having time off together and it has been amazing!

As the week draws to a close, I'm sure I'll be sad to go back to work but I am sort of excited to see where this next step takes us.  DH begins "Daddy Daycare" and will be home with him through winter...this should be fun!

I start back to work tomorrow! I've been dreading it since Day 1!! DH is keeping DD during the day because he works nights. I'm going to be incredibly jealous of his time with her and can't imagine how I'm going to make it through the day without her!!!

me too - but think how lucky to be leaving her with her daddy - great peace of mind

Yes, I do count my blessing in that regard. We are very lucky to be able to have her spend the day with daddy instead of a daycare ~ and it will save money!! But oh wow I'm going to miss her so bad it hurts!
