Bottle nipples and switching to crib!

How did you know when to switch over to level two? At 3months? Or did you wait for some kind of sign from baby? And of those who have switched from bassinet in room to crib in their room how did you do it?

We just put LO's crib in our room. We're going to side car it (push it up against the bed, like an extension to our own bed).

We put DD in her crib when my DH could let go of her to be in our room. But once we put her in there she started to sleep much better (8 to 11 hours)
