I know this may be a little too late for some people, but last night DS STTN from 6:30-5:00 (although let's not discuss his new trend of waking this early no matter what time he goes to bed).  We have been getting 8 hour stretches out of him this past week, otherwise we only had a random 7 or 7 1/2 hour stretch max since he was born.  I was thrilled b/c he did it on his own, no CIO or anything, but then my mom used it as an opportunity to comment on how he's old enough, he's been manipulating, etc.  She never made those comments before, so it just sucks that it feels like she's been judging this whole time.

that is so awesome.  my LO still wakes up at least 3-4 times a night and i'm hopeful she'll grow out of it on her own...sorry about what your mom was saying just remember you know your baby so much better than she does!

Congrats... Thats great and I'm sorry your mom is being judgy.  I love your sons owl hat so much! Where did you get it?
