Going to my first dr appoint post m/c

I have been really nervous about this. But there are alot of things I want to talk to her about. The sad thing is this appointment was supposed to be my first prenatal appointment so they will be thinking I am pg but I am not

Any advice on what to ask?

I am going to ask when we can start TTCing. I am also going to ask to get my HCG levels checked again as well as my thyroid hormone levels. I used to have thyroid problems so I want to make sure that is normal. I also want to talk to her about my emotions lately. I think I need someone to talk to.

Is there something else I should be talking to her about?

I am having my first follow up appointment today as well. I made a separate appointment from the prenatal appointment I originally had scheduled since my prenatal was with a MW and this one is with an actual OB.

I am not looking forward to it either and my questions are similar to yours.  I feel much more informed now than I was the day of my D&E. There are so many questions I wish I had asked, but at the time, I had no idea WHAT to ask?

Questions like, will any testing be done on me or on the baby?  What could have caused this?  Can we safely have sex? I was told after the D&E to wait untl all discharge had stopped which it has not and it has been hard to wait. Are my hormones getting back to normal?  Am I healing like I should be?  I will be watching this post to see if anyone comes up with more questions I should ask.

I have my f/u next week, so I'll be watching too.  Some of the things I want to know are...

Should I expect my periods and cycles to be different than before or will they normalize?

If AF does not come w/in 6 weeks (that's what they told me at the hospital), what will you do for me?

If my LP is shorter, what do you recommend?  If B6/12, in what dose?

I also want to discuss the plan for when I am pg again.  How do they handle it?  More b/w and u/s?  I want to have a plan in place, because I think it will help me look forward.
