I have sorta a wierd confession. After I put DD to bed last night, I sat with LO on the couch putting him to sleep because I refused to let him CIO in the bassinet. He just laid in my arms and just stared and smiled at me. I started to cry and I am not sure why. It wasn't a bad feeling, more of a I am thankful feeling.
Has this happened to anyone else?
TIA for letting me talk about this.
Re: Am I the only one that this has happened to?
Exactly.
Yes! I cried the first moment I laid eyes on him, and it hasn't stopped. Like you, I am so thankful. They are happy tears.
Well, I AM a crier and I've done that too.
There are times I look at Aaron and cry, in a good way, because just over three years ago I thought I'd never get married (after a broken engagement) let alone have a child. And often I'm afraid this is a dream... it's weird. But I am so thankful for what I have.

Yep, I'm right there with you! It's usually a daily occurance. I have to tell myself, "put down the baby" and it's very hard. I stare at him for hours and look at God's creation. I am in awe. I am in love.
