Q re: H1N1 and FFX County weekday clinics...

How do they handle the lines?  Do you have to wait there or do you "pull a ticket"?  DD needs her booster - but we will be in NYC this weekend, so we won't be able to go in at "exactly 4 weeks"... so either the weekday clinic tomorrow or taking her to the pedi on Wednesday will have to do.

Thanks!

They dont seem to be as crazy as they used to be. If you go while they are open, not waiting in line before they open. Then you get a ticket and you have to be there when they call you're number.

people queue up early (DH got there at 5am for my shot to hold a place - we were #44) at 8am they give out numbers.  they call numbers in chunks (1-5, 6-11, etc) and can often give you an estimate of when to come back if you are number 200 something.  i've been twice now - once for DD (before i knew i was expecting) and then 1.5 weeks later for me (if only i'd peed on a stick 1.5 weeks earlier!)  and in the time between my two trips they became even more organized.

we went to reston both times.
