But ours is a chocolate brown, with blue walls, brown/white/blue striped drapes with choc brown shades. Our floors are dark hardwood and the furniture is mahogony. The room is decorated dark, I guess, but we get a lot of sun. I love it.
We have antique mid-century modern 1950s bedroom furniture- think atomic ranch, dark walnut, Eames, etc. The walls are a neutral yellowish-beige right now, but we're going to repaint soon in a tan shade.
Anyhow, I prefer plain bedding. I'm not a huge fan of patterned stuff. We have simple off-white linen window treatments and a solid colored down duvet. Our sheets are plain ivory.
The Company Store has some nice down comforters in a good selection of colors instead of just the plain white ones (I love down comforters, but HATE duvet covers.) Our current down comforter is about shot so for Christmas I'm hoping for a new one in a slate blue.
I really like having the neutral walls, sheets, and curtains with the solid color on the comforter. We have lots of funky art in our room, so I think that too many patterns/colors would overpower and make the room seem too busy. I prefer the calming, classic look and then being able to "accessorize" the room with the artwork.
We have deep yellow walls, white trim, oatmeal color shades with chocolate brown drapes. Chocolate brown bedspread/bedskirt/shams with medium brown furniture.
All white down comforter and bedding. ?Our walls are a light muted blue. Our furniture is black and our curtains are black and white damask. I love it. ?We get tons of complements on the colors/furniture. ?I have always loved white fluffy, downy bedding.?
Our bedding is plain white and I made some green & white damask shams to go on it. I love having all white because it's easy to change up with different pillows & a new throw blanket at the bottom. Also, our bed is turquoise so the bedding has to be kind of neutral.
Re: what does your bedding look like???

Our room is neutral w/ dark brown furniture. Our bedding is similar to this, could not find the exact print.
