if youre expecting again...

will you decorate another nursery, or share the nursery for baby #2?

  • We are hoping to buy a house before LO. If not we have a 2 bedroom so LO's will be sharing.

I can see it now. Half blue, half pink LOL!

  • We plan to reuse the nursery.  DD will get the spare room decorated especially for her.

  • We aren't expecting again for now, but we went gender neutral so that LO #2 could reuse DS's bedding, etc.
  • when we found out we were pg we were giong to move Griffin to our "office" and decorate it as his big boy room- but then we found out it was twins- so the twins go that room (b/c it's bigger than Griffin's) and Griffin stayed in his.

if you have the space- i would NOT put an infant and a toddler in the same room.

We did the same...easier that way. I figured when baby #1 is old enough, she can pick out what she wants her room to look like i.e. pink, purple, or any other color.

Not expecting again, but I was thinking about what we'll do when we have a 2nd and I have to agree with Goldi Locks.  My SIL was telling me that her son climbed into her daughter's crib while she was in it when they were little (they're a year apart) even though they were in different rooms.  They ended up having to put a lock on the outside of her door to keep him out.

This is exactly how we did it too!! So we will move #1 in a big boy room decorated just for him and the nursery won't change at all.
