Having twins!

Found out about a month ago that I am pregnant with twins!  Am close to 11 weeks along. Apparently, I ovulated out of both ovaries so they are almost certain that they are fraternal.  We find out the sexes one week from today.  Hubby and I are excited and scared at the same time!!

    but ...you found out the sexes at 10 weeks? Don't want to be snarky but girl, thats not possible.

    Well, not to be snarky either, but you didn't read my post.  I said that I'm close to 11 weeks along and I find out in one week (so at 12 weeks) what we're having.

    I'm also having fraternal twins, but we're Team Green. 12 weeks is early to tell the sexes with absolute certainty. If they do tell you, I wouldn't be convinced that its correct. They should definitely know at your anatomy scan (18-20 wks). GL!!

    Depends on the method of finding out.  It would be accurate with an amnio.  I'd be less convinced with an u/s.

    Congrats and welcome, 12 weeks is very early for gender unless you are having CVS?

    Congratulations!  I hope you have a perinatologist and get Dr. Luke's book. 

    I found out the sexes at the NT scan at 12 weeks.  The tech was correct - and it has been verified at subsequent scans.

    congrats and welcome!

    Do know that the 12w US is ABLE to tell the sex, but it's often inaccurate at that stage - unless you get a totally clear shot- i would not tell everyone the sex until you confirm at 16w.

    we were told boy at 12w2d with both my pgs - and both were right- but we still did not buy blue until it was confirmed at a later date.

    A friend of mine was told girl at 13w - and at 20w, his daughter had grown a penis :)
