Anyone using wool nursing pads?

Apparently I have vasospasm and my LC recommended that I get some wool nursing pads to help keep my nipples from feeling like they are going to explode each time I go outside in the cold weather.   Does anyone else use  wool nursing pads and can make a recommendation?  There seems to be two classes $11-12 a pair and the $26 a pair and I'm wondering if the $26 a pair is that much superior and worth the extra money.

Thanks!

Re: Anyone using wool nursing pads?

  • I've been using them from day 1, and love them! I bought mine from www.cottonbabies.com and use the $26/pair ones - I bought 2 pair. I never tried the cheaper ones so I can't really complain, but these are wonderful. They saved my nipples and I never really had to use lanolin ointment. You will need to buy some lanolin soap to wash the pads in every week or so (more frequently in the beginning when you're still leaking a lot, less as time goes on).

I was looking at LANAcare.  Do you have their original pads? or the softline?
