Does soy formula help with gas?

We've been using the generic gentlease, but he is still so gassy. We also use mylicon & gripe water. TIA

    Soy formula and mylicon didn't help my son.  His pedi recomended enfamil gentlease and that has helped him.

    We were using Enfamil lipil with DD and she was getting really fussy and gassy. We just changed to Enfamil Pro Sobee and we saw a difference right away. I would definatly try a soy based formula. Good luck

    We started out with Enfamil premium Lipil and DS was so gassy and screamed all the time. He was miserable, as were we. We switched to Nestle GoodStart Soy....it's like having a different baby. He's much less gassy! Also we use BornFree bottles. They don't leak, cause spit up, gas or colic.
