So far the 2 strollers I have (1 valco trimode twin jogger, 1 baby trend triple) do not accept car seats. DH wasn't happy about having to buy a 3rd stroller, but I'm pretty sure that having a stroller that accepts carseats is necessary. WDYT? I may sell the triple I bought, now that I think about it, it's probably not a NEED, but a wasteful WANT, lol.

Re: Do I NEED A double snap and go?
IMO, you'll need a stroller that will accept 2 carseats (DSNG, Graco Quattro Duo, Kolcraft Contours Double). In your case, the Graco or Kolcraft may be a better option (depends on what carseats you have - the Kolcraft is more versatile) because of your older DD. You would be able to either put both seats in, or one seat in/DD in/wear one twin.
I have the Graco (got it when older DD was born, 2 yrs ago) and it works really well. At this point, I can even take both babies out of their seats and put them both in the rear seat -fully reclined, and DD in the front.
The Kolcraft would work as a DSNG, or I believe you can have configure it several ways because the seats come out and there are various seating options.
You may also want to consider buying the DSNG second hand.
My DH was reluctant to get one because he wanted just a side by side, but we found it on Craigslist for $12!! Seller was asking $20 but when we showed up she said she just wanted to get rid of it. LOL. It's all metal, so it just needs to be wiped down and it's good to go.

Ditto, ditto, ditto. We're transitioning to our convertible carseats and I'm mourning the loss of being able to put them in my Kolcraft Contours in their carseats. It's amazing how much time it adds to running errands. Definitely find a used one.
After a PCOS dx, 18 months of trying, 3 rounds of clomid and 2 follistim IUIs our babies are here!
This. I got mine on craigslist for less than a new one.
We thought about getting a DSNG because the MoMs on here rave about it and have said it's really lightweight. In the end though, we already have a Graco DuoGlider and a single Graco, so we decided against buying another. Plus with our 1-year-old it's nice that the DuoGlider has a comfy seat in it for him, unlike the DSNG. I'm not planning on doing much shopping, etc. for the first few months after the twins are born anyway, so it doesn't really make sense for us to buy a 3rd stroller (2nd double).
But, I would definitely say you'll want a stroller that holds 2 infant carseats, whichever option that may be for you!
I'd get a double sit and stand instead - it is lightweight and accepts two car seats (any that have the V shape bottome - baby trend/graco etc) and then has seats when the babes are ready.
I never used my DSNG and wish I would have realized that the double sit and stand takes carseats too. I thought the others were way too heavy w/ carseats in them.
I have THIS one and love it.
