I know there's a huge debate over the safety of co-sleeping and that the sleep positioners with the wedges on each side of LO are considered a smothering hazard. But, has anyone talked to their pediatrician about the safety of the Close & Secure Sleeper? It's like a little travel bed (pretty much looks like a box) that you lay in bed with you. I'd assume it would keep the blankets off of baby's face and wouldn't let LO roll around.
Any thoughts??

Re: Safety of Close & Secure Sleeper?
We use something similar, the snuggle nest, but our LO wiggles down to the wedges so I removed the wedges. Now its just kind of like what you posted and it works.
Our LO still wants to sleep with us though. It didnt' change that. I have just worked really hard on keeping him in his bassinet in the snuggle nest though and he fusses for a few minutes but I keep my hand on his chest and he settles eventually.
We just bought this -didn't think about the positioners being dangerous. We are using it when we are up in our bonus room, not in our bed.
