Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Is it too early to begin decorating for Christmas?

I mean, would I get laughed at?

I'm really excited for Christmas this year.

ETA: I'm kidding.

But, I'm really, really, annoyingly excited.

  • YES IT IS TOO EARLY! I hate when people decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving. Then, Thanksgiving kinda gets overshadowed.

  • I'm thinking about getting the boxes of decorations down soon and slowly starting to put stuff up around the inside of the house :)  That way, only people who are over will know I'm loony.

  • I normally don't like thinking about Christmas before Thanksgiving. But I am really excited this year since it will be DS's first Christmas. We already have a few gifts for him and I am really really really tempted to set up the tree and wrap the gifts we have.

    Ditto.

This is why I'm so excited. Plus, it's the first Christmas that H and I will be spending TOGETHER in our own home.

MY first Christmas tree, MY first time decorating, MY first time cooking Christmas morning breakfast, MY first time leaving cookies and milk for santa and carrots for the reindeer.

Dillon won't get it but, it means alot to me.

    I think I may cry.

  • I know what you mean!

I'm a stickler for waiting till Thanksgiving, but I've been obsessed with Christmas since the start of October this year.

  • I always do it the day after Thanksgiving.  Any earlier ruins Thanksgiving for me.

This exactly!  I am holding out though!

  • I'll just start buying stuff and crafting lol.

    That'll hold me over.

  • Thanksgiving is three weeks from today.
  • We always wait until Thanksgiving weekend but I am itching to get started too! I'm going to work on getting everything organized and cleaned until Thanksgiving and then its all going up!
