Hello ladies,
I haven't posted for along time as I needed a break from everything IF related. But I'm back with a quick question as I can't seem to find any definitive answers via Google.
I've read that ovarian volume is one of the major indicators of ovarian reserve. Average volume for women in their 30s is about 6cc. The smaller the ovaries, the smaller the reserve. Well my measurements came back as 3cc for the left and 11cc for the right. So basically my left ovary is that of a woman 50+ and my right is that of young 20somethng. My question is if the small size of my left ovary is a big deal OR whether they take an average (which would be 7cc's and okay)? We're on a break from seeing our RE and won't be back until January. I will definitely ask her then, but just wondered if anyone had any answers. (BTW - all bloodwork, including FSH was normal).
