having a TB Skin Test while pregnant...

My work requires an annual TB test.  I am, of course pregnant this year.  I've googled it and all the stuff I find says that having the skin test done has no risk at all to mom or baby, and I may call my doc just to ask, but wanted to find out if any of you ladies knew anything about it.

I had to have one for my schooling. My doctor said it was completely OK. I didnt have any problems with it.

We are required to get them where I work annually as well. I did and nothing happened. I was assured by both my doctor and Occ Health that it was completely safe for me and baby. I would not worry.

It does not contain TB, to my knowledge.  It just tells if you have been exposed to TB.  I had the skin test with DD and my OB and perinatologist both said that it perfectly safe.

I work in a  hospital and the forms we use where I work say on them safe for pregnant women.

I had one in 1st tri--work at a hospital where it is required, also.  My OB and employee health both said it is perfectly safe for us!

It's perfectly fine to get one. I have to get one annually too and just had mine done last week.

Sounds like it's perfectly fine, but I thought I'd just throw out that I needed to get one for an internship last year but they wouldn't do it and told me I needed to get the nurse to waive it because I was nursing my son.
