Old people do not know how to use evite correctly....
My Dad is throwing my mom a surprise 60th b-day party and one of my mom's friends sent the evite out since my parents can see each others email. My brothers and I are probably the only people under 50 invited.
Instead of sending it to each person invited she sent it to each couple. So every entry looks like "ebat and Mr. ebat". In cases where there is no Mr. ebat it says "ebat and guest." On a normal evite I've never seen anything but a "significant others are welcome" at the top.
Additionally the repsonses are cracking me up in the comment section it says stuff like "ebat will attend but Mr. ebat will not" (I'm glad we're talking about ourselves in the 3rd person) or "We're excited to come" but they didn't check for 2 guests
(it's a sit down dinner so it matters)
It makes me glad I don't live there and have to deal with the planning....
