Has anyone had an ultrasound around 32 weeks and given an approx weight of baby? We had one on Friday and she was approx. 4lbs 8 oz. Dr said that was 46 percentile.
at my 32 weeks appointment (32w1d) he was appox. 4 pounds 6 ounces... (i forget what they say that percentile was, but obviously right around the same as yours then)
my doctor said I am looking at an 8-8.5 pound baby at 40 weeks...

DS was estimated to be 5 lbs 13 oz. He was 10 lbs, 22" at birth (39w0d).
DD was estimated to be 5 lbs 3 oz. She was 9 lbs 2 oz, 21" at birth (37w0d).
At 36w0d DS was estimated to be 8 lbs 1 oz, 36w3d DD was estimated to be 8 lbs 11 oz, she was born 4 days later.
Sorry no paragraphs, bumping from my phone.

I had an ultrasound at 32 weeks, they told me the baby was 4lbs 11oz and in the 75th percentile. However, when she was born (at 40 weeks 5 days) she was only 7 lbs 5 oz.
Mine was at 32w4d, approx. weight was 4pounds 14oz. They guessed he would be 8.5-9 pounds at birth. They said he was big, so theyscheduled another ultrasound for 38 weeks....the tech said it's not something they normally do. I just don't think a 9 pound baby is that big, but whatever.
Son 4/27/12, Son 10/15/14, Daughter 9/29/16....Baby #4 due 10/09/19! Apparently we get really bored in January
At 32w4 days, we were measuring at 4.75 pounds, so the tech said the range of error on that puts the baby at 4-5.5 lbs. My first baby was 8lbs 5 oz and this one is on track to be the same at our scheduled c-section at 39 weeks. (Half a pound per week is the estimated weight gain from here on out).
At 34 weeks she was measuring a whopping 6 lbs 8 oz, give or take 15 oz. (Hopefully take!!) I haven't had any other growth u/s done since then. Honestly I'm a little afraid to lol. I wish my doctor would have given me an estimated birth weight though! I will have to ask him about it.
Thanks ladies for these posts. We had a diagnostic 3d U/S last week at 30w3d and doc said that LO was "really big." She estimated him at 3#5oz. I didn't think this sounded all that big. And now seeing your numbers I feel so much better. I sort of feel like they really have no idea how big baby is, b/c the error margin is so wide on U/S.

That's really bizarre. I just had a growth scan done by two specialists because I'm HR at 30w3d and my baby was also measuring in at 3lbs. 5oz. and they said she was between the 20th and 30th percentiles and measuring small. I actually have to get another scan in a few weeks to check her growth because she was measuring 64th%ile just a few weeks ago and they want to be sure she's growing okay and not continuously dropping in size.

I had one at 33 weeks and he was measuring 5 lbs 8 oz. I am scheduled to be induced tomorrow, so we will see if her 8 1/2 lb prediction was right!
At 32w1d with both kids:
