Are collard greens from a can any good?

I have an uncle that can make some killer greens.  I picked some up from the store yesterday though thinking I'd give it a try.  Anyone have them before?  I think they'll go good with some lentils.

i dont think I have ever had them in any form... Is it like spinach?

I personally don't like the consistancy of canned collards.  They are a bit too slimey for me.  I loooooove fresh greens.  My G'ma makes super yummy ones.

I totally prefer fresh collards to canned. However, I've had Sylvia's canned collard greens and they were pretty good. What brand do you have?
