Should I be disturbed by this?

I just found a picture I posted of my nursery on the baby room bio website

I know that I put the picture out there on the internet but still, I feel kind of creeped out that someone else posted my nursery on their website! I may have prego brain though, because I vaguely remember something about someone asking me permission for something in regards to my nursery!

haha, i clicked on your link and then browsed the site and saw some pictures of my nursery too!  i know i never gave permission to use them, but i did post a couple on this board a while ago and this is a public message board.  take it as a compliment!

No, I wouldn't be disturbed by it. You post pics on the internet, and some of them may end up on a nursery decor site. It's just the way of the internet. 

Our blog is searchable by google, and by far, the most hits I get from google searches are related to nursery decor. Do people right click and save some of those images? Probably so. As long as they aren't posting my nursery idea boards or pics of my kids' rooms and claiming it as their own, I'm fine with people being inspired by our home.

The Baby Room Bio was made for inspiration to all of the bumpies.... I would take it as a compliment that your nursery "made it" in!

I wouldn't give it a second thought beyond flattery.  None of your personal info is on there and the bio is compiled for inspiration.

I also agree that it's a compliment. As long as they don't post any contact info or pics of your family, I think it's okay. You can always ask the person to take the picture down if it makes you uncomfortable- I'm sure they won't mind.

The lady who runs that site, posts on here frequently.  I usually see her posting to ask if it's okay, so maybe that's what you are remembering.

I have also seen her on here asking people if they would mind her putting up pictures. Your nursery is cute!

It's kinda weird/funny, but I'd take it as a compoiment. It's not like your child or address is in the picture or anything. Just don't let anyone else take credit for all your hard work!

Flattered - Yes.  I've seen her also ask permission to post peoples pics from on here, so I wouldn't think she'd just go ahead and do it without asking you.. You just probably don't remember saying yes!  I just hope when I get around to doing my LO's room it'll be good enough to be featured!!
