Paint Colors

I can not find a paint color I like. I am searching for a soft robin's egg blue. I bought two paint samples from Sherwin Williams and one was too dark and one was too bright. Any one use a soft blue that they want to share a picture and paint color name? TIA! I am not looking forward to spending another $5 a can on sample paint today.

Be careful with light blue it can go bad very easily and be just way too sicky blue.  We went for as light as possible with out being white.  We got ours at Home depot and the color was called cream soda. I think it was a Behr paint color.  I'm sure if you go to HD they can find if for you.  It's gorgeous, IMO.  It's our favorite color we have painted so far, in our whole house.

We are using Front Porch by Sherwin Williams in our playroom/family room. ?It looks slightly gray, slightly blue, slightly aqua all in one. ?It is by far my favorite color of paint I have ever seen. ?I have already informed my DH that when we have another child boy or girl the nursery is going to be this color. ?He wanted a light gray, but I wanted something with a little extra panache than plain gray, and Front Porch was the perfect answer. ?We have white trim and?moulding and will have expresso furniture when completed, and it looks great with both. ?

Thank you all for the tips. I think maybe I just chose a color that is a bit to bright. I am heading back to Sherwin Williams and will be getting samples that are softer. I will be sure to check for Front Porch. I also think I will go to some other stores to check for the other colors mentioned.
