Do you just sign your name for them or what? We got two checks for J's baptism and I am in the process of setting up his 529 account for college. I'd like to just sign the checks over to that account, but I may need to deposit them in mine and write a separate check. Either way, I'm not sure how to endorse his checks. I feel dumb for having to ask, but . . . help! Thanks!
Re: Cashing checks made out to DC??
Sign them with your name. He's a minor so his money is your money
ETA: I've never signed DD's name to any check, just my own. But then I *ahem* sign DH's checks too because he never remembers too. Everything is so automated these days, unless there is some question or snafu, it just sort of goes through ya know?
