Anyone else have a messy eater?

C is both BF and FF- He has no problems when it comes to BF, but he is super messy when eating from a bottle.  I've tried numerous bottle types and it's always this way, so I know it's not the bottle style.  He always has formula dribbling down his chin.  It doesn't help that he tries to stick his hand all around his face and mouth while he's eating.  I guess I just have to come to terms with the fact that I have a mess little boy.  Anyone else?

  • DD is messy even at the breast, but we went with a slower flow nipple and that helped from the bottle.
  • My DD is a very messy eater. I have tried every bottle under the sun and it makes no difference for her.

She likes to fill her mouth with a big sip and just let it pour out all over.

    Nice, huh?

  • our dd does the exact same thing!! I always have to really make sure to wipe off her neck after she eats!!

  • DD is with certain bottles. I think it comes out of the nipple too fast.

  • Anthony does this, too! He's a mess, and bibs only do so much, lmao.

  • Very messy. It's always dribbling out and she likes to blow bubbles when eating. Makes it a PITA to feed her.

  • My toddler doesn't use baby bottle anymore for her mealtime because she is now 6 months old and she's starting eating solids. And like what I expected she is very messy. I use some silicone baby bibs for her to less the mess in mealtimes only. I think babies are really messy whether the babies are using bottles or not.
