Need Christmas List Help

So my MIL likes us to give her lists for Christmas.

It's really hard for me b/c I hate giving her a list [it feels gift grabby] and b/c she and I do not have the same taste at all.  I try to keep my list to things not from the mall or nice stores, b/c she thinks they are a waste of money.  Like for example, one year I put an Ipod and stuff like that on my list b/c she can buy it from Costco.

Any ideas of things?  I was thinking maybe a GPS for our car?  She usually spends around $300 if that helps.

Do you have sirius/xm?  That would be something that is practical & fun.  I've had it since before Howard Stern moved to Sirius...love it!!

Jewelry, hardware for your computer or laptop.  Not being able to choose from mall stores is killing me!!

GPS is awesome, we LOVE ours.

What about a family membership to something?  The zoo, museum, or tickets to something (a musical, opera, play)?  Spa gift card?

I LOVE my Garmin.  Are you/YH readers?  How about a Kindle?  A Blue Ray player?  We got one awhile back but have yet to use it, although I hear they're nice:-)
