Hi Ladies,
I'm reasonably tech savvy but have never used a webcam.
The In-Laws live out in the midwest (we're in the northeast) and are hoping that we can figure out a way to stream live video online via webcam so they can see the new baby.
Does anyone do this? What's the easiest way? Skype? Instant messenger? I googled and too many p*rn type sites popped up...
Oh and keep in mind the in-laws are in their 70's so would need something they could easily download and use. I have a webcam installed on my laptop.
Thanks!
Re: NBR: Web Cam - Best way to use?
Yup, we do this. We bought a webcam - easy to install. And then we signed up for Skype. SUPER SUPER easy. My ILs, who are really technically challenged, had no problem what so ever. Go try it yourself now - just go to skype.com and follow the instructions. Way easier than I thought it would be.
