What mattress did you get? Was it coil or foam and what is the difference between coil and foam?

A coil mattress is like a traditional adult mattress with metal coils/springs in it -  foam one is just that, foam. Foam is lighter weight than coil, but also warmer. For all the pros/cons I'd try google.

We got a foam crib mattress from Ikea for $40.

Colgate Classica, foam mattress.  The foam is so much lighter, so it's way easier to change sheets in the middle of the night and works just as good!

Costco's LA Baby Organic mattress. Its only around $120, which is stellar for an organic mattress!
